<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS',sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><b>During the process of the performance task, I have learnt many things. One of such is that one has always has to be vigilant and observant and scrutinize every data that he is given. <i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #666666;">For example, if the numbers do not add up there can be mistakes that will affect for further performance.</span></i> One has to be very well organised at all times to ensure no mistakes, errors are made that can alter your results.<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #666666;"> <i>For example, if your group's contacts are all mixed up you cannot contact them, your data are not in a certain order you will take an even longer time to consolidate all of them.</i></span> One also has to be able to communicate clearly and get their point across without causing any misunderstandings. <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #666666; font-style: italic;">For example, if you say "Help me find the percentage of buses that came on time" Your group members may not be able to grasp it as you did not define the meaning of "Buses" it could have meant total number or a single bus number. </span><span class="Apple-style-span">One also has to have good leadership and be able to work well in a group, this will greatly </span>enhance your group's chances of completing the task perfectly and may be a start to new friendships. </b></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS',sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: x-small;"><b><u><br />
</u></b></span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS',sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: x-small;"><b> <u>Role of statistics in Real Life</u></b></span></span><br />

<span><span style="background-color: yellow;">Question 2: What did you enjoy about today's lesson?</span></span><br />
<span><span style="background-color: yellow;">Question 3: What is the good thing about diversity?<span style="background-color: white;"> </span></span></span><br />
<br />
<span><span style="background-color: yellow;"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="color: red;">1) The three things I learnt today were: We are all different and special in our own way.</span></span></span></span></span><br />
<span><span style="background-color: yellow;"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="color: red;"> : We have to accept people for who they are.</span></span></span></span></span><br />
<span><span style="background-color: yellow;"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="color: red;"> : The meaning of embrace can be in literal meanings.</span></span></span></span></span><br />
<br />
<span><span style="background-color: yellow;"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="color: red;">2) I enjoyed today's lesson in a why as I learnt that though we may be of the same age we are different in our own way- unique/special. We also have to accept people and under stand that being different is not always bad.</span></span></span></span></span><br />
<br />
<span><span style="background-color: yellow;"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="color: red;">3) To me I think that the good things about diversity is that we can easily differ from other things easily- as it stands out more easily. It also gives one a sense of belonging and a special feeling to tell others that he/she is different and special. One will also build up confidence with diversity as as one begins to diverse everyone, they will start to see that everyone/everything is special and no one can change that.</span></span></span></span></span>Matthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09158496437223649120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4311314691999834962.post-68943513826976145172011-02-14T20:08:00.000-08:002011-02-14T20:14:24.416-08:00Real Numbers<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiACBqpOLe0FtFLIpGxKn3s_Hc9ZxZkbV7VdGAmXrjmPL3wW2xL46n5V87cZm3PoDXN1CO_QU2t3JPKEW7GTG9meRRIOHC4opC0zfd_Xbxd7od5JA6ywVq2beMpz411Eja90VWF19CaYFHK/s1600/Screen+shot+2011-02-15+at+PM+12.04.24.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="248" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiACBqpOLe0FtFLIpGxKn3s_Hc9ZxZkbV7VdGAmXrjmPL3wW2xL46n5V87cZm3PoDXN1CO_QU2t3JPKEW7GTG9meRRIOHC4opC0zfd_Xbxd7od5JA6ywVq2beMpz411Eja90VWF19CaYFHK/s320/Screen+shot+2011-02-15+at+PM+12.04.24.png" width="320" /></a></div><br />

What have we done?</span></span></i></b><br />
<b><i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: red;"><br />
</span></i></b><br />
<b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: yellow;">We are actually doing a Chinese New Year hamper for the elderly to celebrate the new year. We have collaborated money for the class fund to buy"goodies" for the elderly. We have also gained a bit of knowledge about the elderly surrounding us.</span></b><br />
<b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: yellow;"><br />
</span></b><br />
<b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: red;"><i>(<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">2</span>) </i></span></b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium; line-height: 25px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: red;"><b><i>How do we think that we are affecting the recipients of the hamper? What will be different for them?</i></b></span></span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium; line-height: 25px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: red;"><b><i><br />
</i></b></span></span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium; line-height: 25px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: yellow;">I think we are affecting them by giving them a joy that they savour. Well, in my opinion they lives will be forever cheery and maybe it's only for that moment but I am glad that we made a difference. They will also be able to understand that there are people out there that are willing to lend them a listening ear, carry their burden and even sympathise with them.</span></span></span><br />
<b><i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: red;"><br />
</span></i></b><br />
<b><i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: red;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: black; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: 25px;"> </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium; line-height: 25px;">(3) What could be our next step to care for this group of recipients?</span></span></i></b><br />
<b><i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: red;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium; line-height: 25px;"><br />
</span></span></i></b><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium; line-height: 25px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: yellow;">Our next step could be making visits to them and helping them to maybe decorate their place or their home. We can do this as they have been either abandoned by their family members and have not much to do so we can actually cheer them up. They would also be delighted to see the younger generation helping out.</span></span><br />

For example, 10 is made up of 5 and 2.Matthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09158496437223649120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4311314691999834962.post-9604813259967657662011-01-16T21:44:00.000-08:002011-01-16T21:48:57.804-08:00Post Orientation ReflectionThree highlights in the Secondary 1 orientation camp were <span style="color: blue;">completing the intermediate elements</span>, <span style="color: blue;">gaining a new friend</span> and <span style="color: blue;">cleaning up the food for others</span>! However in there 3 highlights, there were also three "low" moments of the orientation like the part when I <span style="color: yellow;">hurt my toe</span> that prevented me from doing some activities that I really wanted too, meeting some<span style="color: yellow;"> very unfriendly people</span> and <span style="color: yellow;">leaving the camp</span>. The 3 greatest takeaway/ lesson from the orientation camp was that I learnt that <span style="color: #45818e;">I am never alone</span>, just <span style="color: #3d85c6;">do your best in everything</span> and <span style="color: #3d85c6;">anything you do do it well</span>.<br />
<br />
I learnt that I have strengths and weaknesses like everybody, and that I am never perfect. I am looking forward to further evolving in my studies, character, behaviour and my sports. My favourite type of communication is verbal. I like verbal communication as it is rather easy to convey thoughts and opinions through the mouth. You can either decide by checking what kind of conversation you're having, for example- Formal, informal, chatting (internet) braille and others.<br />
<br />
Difficulties I face in communication is that I talk too fast when I speak, as a result people cannot understand me, I usually stutter when I talk and I can't express myself well enough. Also when I communicate with the visual impaired and the mute.Matthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09158496437223649120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4311314691999834962.post-87181448938356675732011-01-08T04:56:00.000-08:002011-01-08T04:56:39.238-08:00Day 2 End Reflection<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dyq-FJOi1WkqRyYwMMTZXSm3cuXLkoHFYQPBrKcCjYrILKI5h6rp_VIdNoZSuQ--xQNJRfCRTlMUPcu92rvTw' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>Matthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09158496437223649120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4311314691999834962.post-87231281350823146762011-01-04T22:35:00.000-08:002011-01-04T22:35:23.873-08:00"Day 1 Mac Attack 1 - Activity 4: End-of-Day Reflection"Well today I entered my class I had a few friends with me so I didn't feel so nervous, then we played with skittles for an ice-breaker, finally we played "Blow Wind Blow". 1)Well the useful feature is that you can immediately share your thoughts with other peopleand see their thoughts too.<br />
<br />
2)The limitations of the Wall Wisher is that you need to post your name and they do not allow you to change your name for privacy reasons and also if a notification has been posted you won't know until you log on the Wall Wisher.<br />
<br />
3)This can be useful as members of the CCA can post their status for that training and if they are able to attend. It can also be used in case if something crops up or the training schedule has been changed, the teacher-in-charge can immediately post it and alert the members.Matthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09158496437223649120noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4311314691999834962.post-15943927654230730712010-12-30T04:53:00.000-08:002010-12-30T04:53:50.779-08:00My Digital Collage<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfy6mV83YoMlzqWsyLvvQ6UoPH8LQ4SBtkNwYQgI4pUA_RYzV-F83FUOuDRdrM7Y4-LfwpmTWhCZ4P8w_NNu6ZBAfhALP5CoS3I3YxbM3sPV2Ou3kG8nA-Ohfv6apffl2-pxfbcJx6q5k7/s1600/Screen+shot+2010-12-30+at+PM+08.44.46.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="250" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfy6mV83YoMlzqWsyLvvQ6UoPH8LQ4SBtkNwYQgI4pUA_RYzV-F83FUOuDRdrM7Y4-LfwpmTWhCZ4P8w_NNu6ZBAfhALP5CoS3I3YxbM3sPV2Ou3kG8nA-Ohfv6apffl2-pxfbcJx6q5k7/s400/Screen+shot+2010-12-30+at+PM+08.44.46.png" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><span id="goog_645596365"></span><span id="goog_645596366"></span><br />

Well, my favourite online application is... Facebook. Well cause, Facebook allows you to share news with others around the world and even locally instantaneously however the bad side of this is that it is very hard to keep a low profile then. (Internet) But it can also help you find your lost classmates from your past and can keep you up to date with the current world affairs. <br />

1) Well Google maps also allows us to find out bus stops around the world, allows us to find out more about the geographical location of certain places.<br />
<br />
2) However, sometimes it can be very unreliable like they will put Landmarks, Schools etc. at wrong places... While other times it can be very reliable so it is a 50-50 chanceMatthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09158496437223649120noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4311314691999834962.post-1631971616813670672010-12-30T03:17:00.000-08:002010-12-30T03:17:57.366-08:00My experience in creating the blog...Well I got a shock when I found out that I had to create this blog of mine, I already had one of my own though...<br />
